Plano Academy High School

Plano Academy High School is a unique STEAM-based school. Classes involve group projects, and engineering is incorporated into all assignments. The projects are team-oriented and require us to work together with our peers to make the subjects ‘come alive.’ During one project I built a submarine and decrypted codes in a WWII situation! At the Academy, the “process” of discovery is as much a part of the education as the subject matter. I credit my experience at the Plano Academy for making me a more innovative thinker and problem solver.
